The following actions were taken to reduce non-sampling error:
- Conducted a pilot survey
- Trained data collection staff
- Trained data processing staff
- Used double data entry, and used validity and consistency automated checks at data entry
Questionnaires
The National Assessment of Progress in Education comprises three background questionnaires that are included in the major assessment which is administered every three years:
- student questionnaire (20 minutes)
- teacher questionnaire (20 minutes)
- school principal questionnaire (20 minutes)
