Echantillonnage
Méthode d'échantillonnage
The sample is drawn using a three-stage stratified sampling method. The sample frame is given by data from the 2000 school census. Strata are based on provinces, type of schools (public and private) and geographic location (urban and rural).
In the first stage, a sample of schools is drawn using a stratified sampling design.
In the second stage, one classroom was randomly selected for each selected school.
In the third stage, 25 students (non-repeaters) were randomly selected from each sampled classroom. If the selected classroom comprised 25 students or less, the entire classroom was selected.
